I am a fourth-year Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at Florida State University, advised by Prof. Guang Wang in the Data, Computing, and Society (DCS) Lab. Before starting my Ph.D., I received my B.Eng. in Computer Science and Technology from Beijing University of Technology.
My research focuses on generative AI for the physical world. I build models that learn how people and physical systems behave across space and time, and that can generate, complete, and forecast this data reliably, especially when real data is scarce, sensitive, or incomplete. I developed diffusion models for human mobility, activity, and time series from real-world systems such as cities, energy, and healthcare, together with uncertainty quantification so that these models signal when their outputs should not be trusted.
My work has appeared at KDD, AAAI, IJCAI, IMWUT/UbiComp, CIKM, SIAM SDM, and ACM SIGSPATIAL. I serve on the program committees of AAAI, KDD, WSDM, The Web Conference, CIKM, and ACM SIGSPATIAL, and review for IEEE TMC and IEEE TETCI. I have received the Dean’s Award for Doctoral Excellence from Florida State University and the NSF Student Travel Award. I am always happy to discuss research collaborations and industry opportunities; feel free to reach out.
